Today I’m bringing you the Western Vape Giant Peach eliquid review. Why? Because today I’m feelin’ peachy!
(I just really wanted to say that … )
Anyway, moving on.
Western Vape Giant Peach Eliquid Review
I’ll get the specifics out the way – this is a 10ml bottle of sub ohm liquid, 70VG / 30PG, and 3mg strength – my usual strength. I’ll get things started with the bottle – this was the only TPD bottle I received in my haul, and I received all of this before all of the regulations changed. Bottles you buy now WILL BE TPD compliant, just so there’s no confusion.
When you first open the bottle, this Western Vape Giant Peach eliquid smells delightful. It actually does smell like peach too. It reminded me a little of that Robinsons Fruit and Barley drink you can get – the peach one – that’s what I thought it smelled like.
I’ll be honest before I go any further; I didn’t even know that I liked peach flavoured liquids until I came across this one. I don’t drink alcohol, but even when I did I remember not liking Archers or Schnapps very much. I’ve never bought the Robinsons peach flavoured drink either. It’s not just a flavour of anything I’d usually order.
However … I really DID love the smell of this when I opened it. I was very pleasantly surprised, especially as I’d had mixed reactions to some of the other Western Vape flavours I’ve tried.
Taste & Vapour Production
This liquid actually tastes quite a lot like that Robinsons peach flavoured drink. It’s not a really BIG peach flavour, more of a subtle, watered-down, juice-like one, but it’s really nice and peach-like nevertheless. It’s actually one I would consider buying again, and I never would have ordered this one in the first place. Big thanks to Western Vape for surprising me with this little delight!
On first inhale, the peach is actually quite strong. Almost verging on too-strong, I felt, but still on the right side of things. It’s almost a ‘sharp’ peach taste – the same kind of sharp that a pear flavour offers rather than the softer one that I’m used to, but it doesn’t take long to fade away into that sweet and slightly softer peach flavour.
It didn’t taste synthetic or cheap, although I would have expected that from the bottles. I know the packaging isn’t overly important, but it is a little bit to me. In the unbox video, you’ll see that I had a really hard time figuring out which liquid was which – sub-ohm and mouth-to-lung vaping. I had to check the website in the end, as it wasn’t aways clear on the bottle what the VG/PG ratio was. I did find an invoice in the packaging that contained that information right at the end … after I’d searched around on the website for what felt like forever, but that’s not the point. I would have been much happier if these were in nicer bottles, or at least slightly better labelled bottles. Also, as a side note, I would like to add that not all the bottles were the same. Some were black, some were blue, some had the VG/PG ratio noted on the bottle, and some didn’t. It was quite frustrating. The new bottles – the TPD compliant ones that you will buy now – are the same as the Giant Peach liquid bottles. They are well labelled, with appropriate warnings and stickers, and they have all the information, including VG/PG details. Big thumbs up now, Western Vape. I’m much happier with the new bottles, even though they are ugly. Damn the TPD! I miss those big, pretty glass bottles.
I found the 3mg Western Vape Giant Peach really nice vape. It’s nice and well-rounded, and filled with flavour too, although it doesn’t provide the largest amount of vapour. You can definitely tell that it’s 70/30 over 80/20, I think. I don’t think I would have liked the flavour if I had received any higher than 3mg either. I think it would have been too strong, and it might have had too much of that sharp, pear-like edge to it. Does that make sense?
**I don’t pear-flavoured anything. I don’t even think it’s a taste thing, I just think pear flavoured stuff has a weird … something about it. Sharpness? I’m not sure, I just know I don’t like it much.
Vaping with the liquid itself is really pleasant. I didn’t cough, it didn’t offer too much of a throat hit, and actually, I would have quite liked a teensy bit more in the throat hit department. Probably not enough to get the next strength up, but a tad more nevertheless. I’m a woman … We’re never happy!
Western Vape Giant Peach Eliquid Review – Conclusion
I know I’ve been a bit up and down on my Western Vape taste-test journey, but I really did like this one. If I were to rate it out of 5 stars, I would give it 4.5. I just would have preferred a teensy bit more vapour, perhaps an 80VG/20PG over the 70/30? Aside from that, however, I can’t rate this one enough. It has a really nice peach flavour, nothing too much, nor too subtle. A really decent one that sits nicely in the middle for me. It would be one of those easy ‘likes’ I’d pick up in the morning to throw in my bag. Most definitely one I would buy again. I should actually give Western Vape another thanks too – I didn’t even know I liked peach until I tried this. I’ve also tried a few more peach flavours since receiving this Western Vape one … although those reviews aren’t as positive. Out of three I’ve tried so far, Western Vape’s is my favourite. You’ll need to keep your eyes peeled for the other reviews!
Would I buy Western Vape Giant Peach again? Yes, most definitely yes!
Would I recommend it to you? Again, yes! If you like peach juices, I think you might like this one. It actually does taste like peach which always helps. You’ll be amazed by how many don’t.
