Bestcigliquid Easy Mix Pink Lady Eliquid Review

Bestcigliquid Easy Mix Pink Lady Eliquid Review 1

I was recently sent three bottles of Easy Mix eliquid from the wonderful folk over at, and I figured it was about time that I showed the last one some love. I made Pink Lady on camera for you wonderful folk, but who knows what flavour it’s meant to be? At the time, I’m sure I read that it was something grapefruit-based. When I pressed record, however, I couldn’t find the flavour at all.

Anyway, I had a few things to say about the eliquid.

Haven’t I always? 😉

About Bestcigliquid

A family-run business that has been going for over eight years, Bestcigliquid has a range of eliquids, including nicotine shots, various concentrates, ‘Bot Shots’, and Easy Mix (the ones that I received), to name but a few.

I talk about a bit of website confusion in the review for Biscuit Monster. I won’t repeat myself again, but there were times that I didn’t find the site that easy to navigate. There were also times I couldn’t find the product on the website too. As you’ll see, that was the case with this one — Pink Lady.

About Easy Mix

So … I’m going to start with the negatives. You know how I love to find ‘em.

These kits ARE great; easy to understand and use. You get everything you need, with very simple instructions. If I can mix them without messing things up too much, you definitely can. Massive ticks in boxes for Bestcigliquid in terms of simplicity as far as I’m concerned, because DIY liquid is something I’ve been putting off for a while. However, I’ve recently received a couple of other kits that have contained a few ‘additional extras’. I feel the Bestcigliquid Easy Mix kits would benefit from those extras too.

1 – Labels.

The smaller, 30 ml bottles are really handy and such a great idea. But, if you have a few of them (I had 3), it’s not always easy to work out which bottle contains which flavour. Mine were different colours, making life slightly easier. Biscuit Monster was darker and browner in colour than Lesley’s Lemon Cheesecake, but Pink Lady was quite a pale shade too. You’d need to sniff the bottle’s contents in order to work out which flavour was inside it. A label would have avoided that.

I also think those unlabelled bottles allow for accidents or mistakes. Again, referring back to “the other” nic shot style eliquid that I recently received, the bottles not only had labels on them but also safety warnings too. I felt that the attention to detail in “the other” kit made them stand out from the crowd, more so than the ones that Bestcigliquid sent out. (Sorry … )

2 – Gloves?

I’m not actually *that* bothered about gloves coming in the kits. I’m a regular hair-dyer. I also live with an artist/tattoo artist. We have gloves all over the place. People who are not regular hair-dyers or tattoo artists might not have gloves. Let’s say you ignore the safety issues just for a moment (although I’m not advising it) and make your own liquid. No matter how careful you are, it generally results in sticky hands somewhere along the lines. That seems to be the case with me anyway.

Right, now I’ve got that out of the way, it’s time to get to the heart of the review.

Bestcigliquid Easy Mix Lesley’s Pink Lady Eliquid Review

To start with, I couldn’t find ‘Pink Lady’ on the website at the time of mixing the liquid. That made reviewing the liquid pretty tough. I remember seeing it on the site when I first received the surprise package, but it had been a few weeks (a lot of weeks) between mixing the first bottle and mixing the last one. In that time, Pink Lady Easy Mix had disappeared, but I’m almost one hundred percent sure it said something about grapefruit when I did see it.

It’s been a few weeks between recording the video and writing up this review too, and Pink Lady in Easy Mix *still* hasn’t reappeared on the website. I did find a flavour called Pink Lady in the ‘Bot Shots’ section. This one is described as:

“A grapefruit based flavour, tangy, yummy and delicious.”

I knew that I’d read grapefruit somewhere. I was starting to think I was going nuts and made it all up.

Taste – Right Away

I’m sorry, but the liquid I tried in the review (that came in the bottle labelled Pink Lady) was not grapefruit. Not even a hint of grapefruit. Not a peep of it. I’m not sure if there was some sort of mixup in the labelling, but there’s no chance my Pink Lady was even remotely grapefruit-tasting.

What it did taste like were tangy berries. Not overly tangy, but the kind of sweet, tangy, fruity berries that you would find in summer — blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, that kind of thing. The liquid itself didn’t have a bad flavour. I actually quite enjoyed it. But there is no way on earth that I had grapefruit in my tank.

Taste – 3 Months Steeped

I actually passed this Easy Mix Pink Lady bottle over to a friend to get his opinion. He agreed that it tasted like berries, not grapefruit, and he also thought there was a hint of pomegranate in there. I don’t know what pomegranate tastes like, so I can neither confirm or deny this.

Who knows what went wrong here? It’s a good, strong (ish) flavour, but I have no idea what it’s meant to be. I also can’t tell you what the juice was like after a few weeks or months of steeping. It wasn’t in my collection for that long. I’m really annoyed by the confusion in flavour. (Sorry, Bestcigliquid.)

Throat Hit & Vapour

Just like the other two flavours I received in the Easy Mix range, Pink Lady was 3 mg. I’d have chosen 3 mg. The throat hit and vapour isn’t bad from this one. All of them, in fact. About what you would expect from a liquid of that strength.

This one was a bit tangier than the other two, so I found the vapour a bit tarter if that makes sense? It provided a really good amount of vapour though, in a 70/30 VG/PG juice, and the throat hit was pretty much what I would have expected. The eliquid is nice to vape with in general. Biscuit Monster was a bit gruffer than I would have liked after a while, but all three of them have been decent.

Bestcigliquid Easy Mix Pink Lady Eliquid Review – Conclusion

To be fair, when the liquid in the bottle doesn’t taste anything like you’re expecting it to, the rest of the journey isn’t going to be that much fun. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a bad tasting juice, but I don’t actually know what flavour it should taste like. It wasn’t a bad berry mix. If it should have been something else, such as grapefruit, it didn’t taste like that at all.

Either way, the fact that it was either badly flavoured or incorrectly labelled didn’t sit well with me at all. It’s a good job this one was the last one of the three. You know I’d have had a right temper tantrum about it, otherwise.

Would I buy Bestcigliquid Easy Mix Pink Lady again? No. I’m sorry, but I don’t even know what this flavour’s meant to be …

Would I recommend Bestcigliquid Easy Mix Pink Lady to you? I wouldn’t recommend this one, obviously, but I have had better luck with the other flavours I tried. Lesley’s Lemon Cheesecake is delightful. I’d definitely recommend checking that one out.
