[AD – Gifted by Ecigarettedirect] Hello, ladies and gentlemen. How are you today? What’s been happening in your life? Isn’t it cold now? Brrrr. Time to get out those winter-warmer eliquids. Speaking of which, I decided it was about time that I shared with you my Gloop Caramel Latte eliquid review, a flavour that I think is just perfect for cold weather.
Do you change your eliquid flavours from summer to winter? I definitely do. Is that weird?

Just in case you haven’t seen it yet, I previously reviewed Hazelnut Cookie from this range, all sent by ECigaretteDirect. You’ll find that here if it sounds like something you’d like. I definitely did. I’ve almost done the entire short fill bottle and that makes me sad. So sad. It’s a sad, sad situation. (I’ll give you ten points if you can name the song … )
Later edit: I’ve now reviewed all four of the Gloop flavours and you can find the others right here:
Gloop #AwesomeSauce is sub-ohm eliquid — high VG — 70/30 VG/PG.
There are four flavours on offer – Caramel Latte, Hazelnut Cookie, Blueberry Donut, and Sticky Strawberry Cake.
You can get your hands on them from ECigaretteDirect for £12.99/50ml, but nic shots aren’t included.
I added THIS Plusnic Nicotine Booster to mine, also available from (and sent by) ECigaretteDirect.
I really liked Hazelnut Cookie from the Gloop #AwesomeSauce range, so I had the highest hopes for Caramel Latte. I’m not the biggest fan of coffee-flavoured stuff and coffee-based eliquids can be really touch and go for me. I don’t even like Revels because of the coffee-choco nightmares. And don’t even get me started on the orange ones. Are they still in there? Why are they still in there? Who even likes them? Not me. Blurgh. Talk about a traumatic chocolate experience.
Anywho, after having such great success with a couple of the other Gloop line, all of which you’ll learn about soon (as I’ve been busy tapping up the reviews), I figured that Caramel Latte would be a decent little coffee blend. I wasn’t wrong. I do have a slight problem, though …
I’m not sure I agree with the name.
Dum, dum, dum …
Gloop Caramel Latte Eliquid Review
I’ll kick things off with the flavour description:
“Move over Star*ucks. This wide-eyed espresso with a double shot of caramel syrup is sure to kick-start your tanks.”
When I first started vaping on Caramel Latte, it really reminded me of another coffee-flavoured eliquid I’d tasted recently — Sugar Pie Vapes Coffee Caramel. There are a few differences between the two, though. Firstly, Gloop’s offering is much heartier and filled with coffee flavour than the Sugar Pie Vapes version. Secondly, I think Sugar Pie Vapes contains a lot more of the caramel hit. I actually didn’t get much of the caramel out of Gloop’s Caramel Latte at all. [To begin with …]
Taste — Straight After Mixing
Latte indicates that the eliquid will be a smooth, milky, and creamy one, but that’s definitely not the case. This is more java-coffee than milky coffee. A bit like an espresso sprinkled with some flavour. The creamy, milky tones do not shine through here, so if you’re looking for them you’ll be sorely disappointed. It even says espresso in the flavour description … Like, how can you call it a latte? Lattes are two-thirds milk.
The coffee flavour, however, kicks ass. In a good way. It’s got a solid, coffee-kick to it, a bit like barista coffee, but not quite. A bit more … bottled than that. Does that make sense? And it’s sweet, too, but not too much. I think that’s the caramel bit (that I don’t actually think tastes much like caramel).
After Steeping — 2 Weeks
I’d like to take back one of the things I said earlier on if that’s okay? When you first mix the eliquid, it’s definitely more coffee than anything else — milk or caramel. When you vape with it after leaving it to steep for a couple of weeks, however, the caramel flavour really starts to come through. I still don’t think it’s much of a milky coffee eliquid, but it’s definitely more caramel than it was right at the beginning.
If you want my advice, I’d suggest leaving the eliquid for a couple of weeks before you vape with it to get the best flavour. It’s nice right away, but it’s a lot nicer if you exercise some patience! ?
After Steeping — 4 Weeks
I keep finding myself coming back to this eliquid, which is weird for a coffee-based flavour. The caramel is definitely more obvious the longer you leave the liquid to steep, and in my opinion, the flavour just gets better over time — a bit stronger, but a lot more well-rounded.
Throat Hit & Vapour
I used Caramel Latte by Gloop in my new Vapor Storm Eco Hawk combo — ECO mod + Hawk tank, with a 0.2-ohm coil. I can’t tell you the watts because there’s no screen on the box mod. The device does only go up to 90 watts, though, and that’s more than I’d vape. I’m a 30-60 watts kinda gal when I’m sub-ohming.
Caramel Latte by Gloop is definitely a cloud-chucking juice. One of those ones that ruins movie night … ?
It’s not a throat-ruining juice, though. I actually found it really smooth to vape. No complaints here!
Gloop Caramel Latte Eliquid Review – Conclusion
So, I don’t think Caramel Latte tastes that much like caramel at first, and I wouldn’t exactly say it’s all that much like a latte, either … It is bloody nice, though. If those coffee Revels tasted as this eliquid does, I’d be a much happier person. They’ve still gotta get rid of those weird orange things in the bag, though.
You definitely get more of a caramel kick as the eliquid steeps, but it doesn’t get overly sweet over time. It is a sweet flavour, but it’s not sickly. Definitely not. I still don’t think there was enough of a milky tone to it to call it a latte, though. That’s just my picky personal opinion. Don’t call it a latte if it’s not a latte, ya know?
All of my pickiness aside, this is a really, really pleasant eliquid. One that I reached for a lot more than I thought.
Would I buy Gloop Caramel Latte eliquid again?
Yes! It might not have the ‘latte-ist’ taste, but the coffee taste it does have is really nice. I’d probably leave it to steep a little while before vaping it (2/3 weeks or so) next time around, but it’s definitely a juice I’ll miss when it’s gone.
Would I recommend Gloop Caramel Latte eliquid to you?
If you enjoy your coffee strong, with a couple of sugars, I reckon you’ll really like this flavour. I didn’t find it sickly, but the flavour does intensify as the liquid steeps. It makes the caramel stronger, and the sweetness, too, so it might be on the too-sweet side for some.
