I quite l ike Jac Vapour and recently, I gave their V1P Starter Kit a shot and rated itwith four stars out of five. With the news that the brand of e-cigs were releasing a brand new bigger and better tank-style personal vaporiser, I couldn’t help but have a closer look. Let’s see what I thought in the Jac Vapour Series-E Review!

Jac Vapour Series-E Starter Kit Review
OK, so it sounds expensive, but you do need to remember that you can save a small fortune with my exclusive JacVapour discount code. Plus, this isn’t any regular, run-of-the-mill eGo or EVOD style e-cigarette. This is something much bigger and much better than that.
You’ll get one battery of 1000mAh capacity. Again, this isn’t your regular e-cigarette that normally weighs in at around 650mAh so bear that in mind when you look at why you’re paying more for this prestigious brand.
You have the option of adding an additional 1000mAh stainless steel battery for £15.00 at the time of placing your order.
You’ll also get the beauty ring which connects the battery to the cartomiser and makes it look pretty, a USB lead charger, and a hard shell case which is actually REALLY nice. The only thing you don’t get is e-liquid.
Right, one thing you need to know about this kit is that it is a bit of a beast. It’s pretty good-looking too – definitely a personal vaporiser that the men would like. Women… possibly not so much. It was a little bit big for me but my friend, Dan instantly fell in love with it.
Put it this way, before he used the kit he said he would never pay that price for the kit. After he had used it he said he WOULD pay around £50 for it… It just goes to show that sometimes you DO get what you pay for.
The battery will last the whole day, even with a bit of variable voltage switching. Oh have I not mentioned that in this Jac Vapour Series-E review yet? 😉
You can change the voltage on this with three clicks of the button which suits me quite nicely as I prefer a lighter smoke first thing in the morning, and a higher-puffed smoke just after dinner (for example) so for me, this was perfect.
If you are thinking about getting a second battery, get it at the time of your order as it will only cost you £15. If you choose to order it separately, you’ll be paying £22.99.

*Little addition to this review after trying the JacVapour 510 Twist e-cigarette (click the link to read the review) is that I actually prefer the variable voltage option on the 510. The click-button operation on the Series-E is a bit fiddly, but the 510 Twist dial at the bottom of the battery made things a lot easier – not only could you see the voltage you were on, but it was a lot easier to switch round too.)
Cartomisers / Tanks
Right, I personally believe the reason behind this e-cigarette being so expensive is because you can literally replace every part of the tank / cartomiser. If you want to buy a brand new Protank 3 510 cartomiser, you’ll be paying £16.99. You can, however, just replace the bits that are broken. So say for example you’ve cracked the exterior pyrex glass tank, you can just replace that bit for £3.99. Or you can replace the coil, or the rubber bit, or the mouth piece. If you can’t afford to buy a brand new tank this month, you could just buy a replacement coil or whatever. You have a lot of opportunities to mix and match stuff to make it your perfect e-cigarette.
Now, I’m saying that parts of the tank could get broken but honestly, this thing is such a beast, I don’t think it can be broken. I’ve dropped it on a concrete floor and nothing happened. I also didn’t read the instructions when I first built it, and I forgot to put part of the centre wick in before I screwed it together and filled it with e-liquid so when I tried to use it, I got a mouthful of godawful liquid and it actually ran through the centre of the battery. I left it to dry out and blew it out a bunch of times and touch wood, everything seems to work as it should do. I actually think this thing might be indestructible.
Oh and always remember to read the instructions. I’ve used hundreds of different brands of e-cigs and every now and again, one of them still catches me out and it goes wrong! Just take a peek at some of the other reviews and you’ll see the boo-boo’s I’ve made!
*I’ve noticed a few things along the way that I’ve decided to add to the Jac Vapour Series-E review. V2 Cigs e-liquid works very well in the cartomiser with the coils, and this goes for all voltages too. The No1Ejuice Hangsen e-liquids were great at first but after a while, I started to notice that there was very little flavour but a whole lotta burnt! When I went back to the V2 Cigs e-liquid again (same coil, same cartomiser), it seemed to give the e-cig a new lease of life, so it just goes to show when it comes to e-liquid, you really do get what you pay for!*
Throat Hit & Vapour
I ordered my Jac Vapour Series-E Starter Kit with a 10ml bottle of e-liquid. I went with 12mg (high strength) and the Real Tobacco Lite flavour. I actually really liked it as well. I’ve used the same liquid in a number of other cartomisers from other e-cig brands and I’ve had no issues with it at all. It tastes great – like real tobacco, and it’s got a really nice vapour and throat hit to it. All in all, I’d say that this was very similar to a genuine smoking experience and I’d highly recommend it.
I have also used other brands of e-liquid in the Jac Vapour Series-E with no problems whatsoever, and the variable voltage really helps to give you a bigger boost of power when you need it.
Within the Series-E starter kit, you don’t actually get any e-liquid included so it will mean adding one of your own bottles to the order.
You’ve got three kinds of e-liquid to pick from, and I talk about these in more detail in the Jac Vapour V1P review. For the Standard e-liquid, there are 26 kinds to make your pick from including flavours such as watermelon, cherry, generic tobacco, menthol varieties and more. You can also choose between PG and VG liquid which is a bonus for those of you that are picky.

A 10ml bottle start at £4.29 however, if you buy 5 or more at once, you’ll get a saving of £1.05 per bottle so the more you buy, the bigger the savings and this tends to be the case on most e-liquid websites these days.
The flavour that I tried (Real Tobacco Lite at 1.2%) was fairly strong. In fact, it was so strong that I didn’t even realise it wasn’t my usual 1.8% or 2.4% liquids that I would normally buy. Just so you know when you make your order… It might be worth going down a strength here when you order from Jac Vapour. Think positively though – the lower down the nicotine strength you buy the easier it will be to wean yourself off it gradually!

If you are making an order that costs £50 or more, you’ll get free shipping. They also try to ship out all orders that are placed before 1pm on the same day (but this can’t always be guaranteed). I got mine the very next day, just so you know.
*Update: Every order I’ve made through Jac Vapour (about 6/8 times now) has arrived the very next day!*
Is Jac Vapour Series-E E-Cigarette The Best E-Cigarette?
After writing this Jac Vapour Series-E review, and Dan and I both using it over the last few weeks, there is only one answer to that question…
There’s no other answer to that. Aside from being a bit tricky to put together the first time (if you don’t read the instructions like me), it is a breeze to smoke. The battery lasts forever, the flavours and strengths of the e-liquid really impressed me, and I get a lot of compliments from other e-cig users when I am spotted out and about with it. It is a big e-cigarette and you do need to bear this mind. It’s not the most discreet (but the variable voltage means that you can control the vapour pretty well) and it won’t easily fit in a pocket but to be honest, I think the size is worth it for the battery power alone. Plus it’s really handsome-looking. Perhaps it would make a great gift for the special guy (or girl) in your life?
Taking everything into consideration, I reckon this personal vaporiser / e-cigarette definitely deserves the five stars out of five I’m going to give it!
*Just make sure you read the instructions before piecing it together and using it!*
