I was recently lucky enough to try the new VapeBarn Allure range of 70VG/30PG e-liquids designed for sub-ohm devices. I also checked out a couple from the ‘regular’ range of the Allure e-liquids too. They come in great little tube-packaging that I found adorable but what did I think of the flavours?

Let’s find out in the VapeBarn Allure eliquid review.

VapeBarn Allure ELiquid Review

The VapeBarn Allure range of e-liquids are made in China but they are created with the requirements and ingredients specified by VapeBarn within the EU. They come in plastic bottles with easy-to-squeeze pipette-lids, and in within smart looking cardboard tubes. As a clumsy person, I loved the tubes as it meant I could keep my bottles safe but the bottles within them are plastic anyway so there’s no chance of any breakages.

I’ve also noticed that plastic liquid bottles tend to leak less than glass ones. Has anyone else found this? Just me…?

Anyway, there’s two types of e-liquid – Gourmet and Regular. The black tubes (Gourmet) are the sub-ohm liquids, and the blue tubes (Regular) are the ‘regular’ e-liquid; the stuff you could use in something like the Vapouriz Fuse or in the Aerotank with your Vapouriz Vbox 40W, for example.

For 30ml of the Gourmet or Regular e-liquid, you’ll be paying £8.99 (down from £9.99). It’s actually not a bad price.

Anyway, I’ve tried a few of the flavours and I’ve been using the various flavours in a couple of different devices. Let’s find out what I thought of the flavours in this VapeBarn Allure eliquid review:

Allure – Regular – Marlboro Tobacco 1.2% (12mg)

If you’re looking for a good, wholesome tobacco flavour, this is the right one for you. It’s quite strong, not throat-hit strong, but tobacco-taste strong. I like tobacco flavours and I really liked this one – a smooth vape on the throat but with enough taste to keep things interesting.

With ‘regular’ vaping (mouth to lung vaping), I usually fluctuate between 1.2% (12mg) up to 2.4% (24mg), depending on the brand. This 12mg one was plenty strong enough for me. I think if I had gone up a nicotine strength, it would have been verging on too strong.

If you learn one thing from this VapeBarn Allure eliquid review, it’s to order one strength DOWN from what you’d normally go for. If I’d gone with 1.8% (my regular) with this tobacco flavour, it would have been too much for me.

Allure – Regular – Menthol 1.8% (18mg)

Dan prefers his menthol stronger so we went for 1.8% or 18mg with this one. It’s quite a frosty tasting menthol e-liquid, definitely very enjoyable, and once Dan had opened the bottle, that’s the only one he used until it ran out. He usually likes to mix things up a bit so I reckon that says something…

More peppermint than spearmint, this is a really decent menthol flavour, and it holds the flavour too. I’ve noticed with some of the cheaper e-liquids that the flavour only lasts for the first few puffs in the tank. When you get to the bottom of the tank, about the time you’d need to fill up again, the flavour can disappear.

The Allure range from VapeBarn don’t disappear after a few puffs. Always good.

Allure – Gourmet – Dragon Fruit 0.3% (3mg)

Right, I don’t think I knew what I was doing when I requested a bottle of the Dragon Fruit. I think I thought it was passion fruit but I can tell you this, I don’t like dragon fruit. At all.

I gave this bottle of e-liquid to a friend (because apparently Dan doesn’t like dragon fruit either) and they really liked it so it’s definitely a personal taste thing. But, yes, yuck.

(They had their little piece to add to this VapeBarn Allure eliquid review too – “I like this one. Fruity. Exotic. Nice.” Helpful as always… )

It’s exotic, a little bit smoothie-like but generally, too much of something… I just don’t know what.

Either way, I didn’t like it.

Allure – Gourmet – Blueberry Muffin 0.3% (3mg)

Another sub-ohm delight, this one is more blueberry than muffin, something I was actually a little disappointed about. It has a great long-lasting flavour but just not enough of the sweet muffin’y goodness to counteract the harsh berry flavour.

Nice but just not sweet enough for me.

Would I buy it again? No. But I like blueberry muffins… Not blueberries on their own.

Allure – Gourmet – Strawberry Milkshake 0.3% (3mg)

Do you know what an actual strawberry milkshake tastes like? Well, this Allure eliquid tastes exactly like that. Unlike the Blueberry Muffin, this one had both parts of the equation – the strawberry and the milkshake. It was delightful.

Not as tart as some of the strawberry flavours I’ve tried, the milky side of things really helps to even things out, giving you a vape that tastes lush and makes the room smell wonderful two.

Nothing like a bit of multitasking!

(I’m writing this VapeBarn Allure eliquid review and vaping Strawberry Milkshake as we speak!)

Allure – Gourmet – Milky Cinnamon Cereal 0.3% (3mg)

I’ve recently found out I’m lactose intolerant which sucks as my favourite food in the entire world is cereal with plenty of milk. Cornflakes, Weetabix, Honey Nut Loops… It doesn’t matter. I don’t discriminate. I love all cereals.

I’m currently working my way through the milk substitutes to find one I like but in the meantime, my life has been devoid of cereal. I seem to have found myself in a cereal flavoured e-liquid phase. It’s all I want to order and vape!

This Milky Cinnamon Cereal is delightful. It doesn’t really taste like any one thing, more like everything it’s supposed to. It’s like all the best cereals rolled into one. Clearly, I’m a big fan.

Seriously though, if you’re a cereal fan, I think you’ll like this one. It tastes like cereal and milk and cinnamon and… Well, all the stuff in the title really. This one is a firm favourite of mine.

So… Those are the flavours I’ve tried so far and honestly, I really quite like them. Admittedly I made a few ordering errors like the whole Dragon Fruit saga but on the whole, these are decent flavoured e-liquids that I would definitely buy again. Great value for money at under £9 for a 30ml bottle, and they’re plastic bottles too so they’re nice and safe. I love those cardboard tubes they come in too. In such a saturated market, I feel the little features count in the world of vaping. Dammit, sometimes a gal just wants a tube for her e-liquid bottles!

Jokes aside, these are definitely worth a second look if you’re in the market for some new flavours. I definitely intend to try the rest of the flavours on offer.
